Job Title: Human Resource Consultant III
Location: This is a hybrid position. Must live in commutable distance to Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area.

Job Description:
OBAN Corporation is seeking Human Resource Consultant III to join its federal customer. Responsible for HR programs and projects, conducts research to identify issues, and provides advice and recommendations for resolving daily HR challenges. They formulate strategic plans, assist in recruitment and training, and implement HR technology.
Works with management to review turnover statistics and implement retention and employee relations strategies that create a positive, highly functioning work environment.
Assists management in identifying and resolving problems with staff, faculty or organizational structure, processes or policies that impede the creation of a positive environment.
Partners with Leadership teams to identify trends within the departments that require proactive engagement and recommend strategies, policies or procedures changes to enhance the teams’ effectiveness.
Advises management, faculty, and staff to promote good working relationships and increase trust in leadership.
Advises management on disciplinary, training, or other measures which resolve or address employee performance, conduct or attitudinal problems.
Develops and facilitates management training forums on Human Resource policies, management /leadership development, team building and interpersonal skills. Identifies and refers management staff to additional trainings resources.
Attends various meetings within assigned departments to provide Human Resource input into departmental planning, staff activities, etc.
Assists department management to strengthen the overall management team through recruitment, selection, and development of the best managers.
Assists in organizational re-design, role definition, process review and implementation and communication of same.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Broad knowledge of Human Resource areas to include compensation, benefits, payroll, and recruitment.
Minimum of 15 years' experience
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required government security check.
U.S. Citizen.
